I once was lost but now I am

~ Amazing Grace by John Newton
"To choose life" one must believe in the Lord Jesus and repent of one's sins which marks the beginning of a transformative journey. To believe in Jesus is to trust in His power and sacrifice for our redemption, accepting Him as Lord and Savior, and committing our lives to reflect that decision. Repentance involves a sincere turning away from our own ways and wrongdoings. Now, we seek to know and love God, and listen intently to His voice—the Word of God.

Add in why is this important* why is the cross important

It is difficult to articulate what the road leading to life is going to look like, or even how to walk it. There are a lot of steps that are built similar but often present itself in different ways and experiences, some good and some deeply challenging. If you could remember or take away one things - turn, ask and seek after God. You'll hear that a lot from us.
The bible says that "the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction" and "narrow is the way that leads to life." Of course no one walks this road perfectly. That's the whole point - there is only one who has, Jesus Christ.

So what now?

“See, I have set before you today
life and prosperity, and death and adversity;
in that I command you today to love the Lord your God,
to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments
and His statutes and His judgments,
that you may live and multiply,
and that the Lord your God may bless you
in the land where you are entering to possess it.
But if your heart turns away and you will not obey,
but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them,
I declare to you today that you shall surely perish.
You will not prolong your days in the land
where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess it.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today,
that I have set before you life and death,
the blessing and the curse.
So choose life in order that you may live,
you and your descendants,
by loving the Lord your God,
by obeying His voice,
and by holding fast to Him;
for this is your life and the length of your days,
that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers,
to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
~ Deuteronomy 30:15-20
