​"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’" ~ Jeremiah 29:11-14

This is what we testify: God's ways are far better than what we could ever plan. As we have said it is not always a smooth sail - it has many highs and many lows, much joy and humbling experiences - but He is good regardless of our circumstances.
The Practical
"Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14
So now what? This was our experience after becoming a Christian.​

If you could take away one thing or a principal lesson in every circumstance - turn, ask and seek after Jesus. That means repent of your own ways, "turn," ask the Lord to help guide you and provide what you need, "ask," and set your heart to pursue God through all things, "seek."
​
When you doubt seek God. When you are in despair - seek God. When you've made a mistake - turn and seek Him. At the ultimate highs - thank and seek God. He has incredible ways to heal us, carry things when they are not ours to bare, and give us wisdom and understand.

This is now the part where we unlearn A LOT and God teaches us His ways. This is our aim: to be well founded in Christ.

Read the bible & pray - Foundational! This is the best place to start by reading the Bible regularly and studying it in-depth and talking to God. Click the section "Sermons" to help you navigate and understand scripture.

Find a church - This is also really important. You can attend church services and Bible studies to learn and deepen your understanding of the Word; however, it is really important to pick a church that teaches from the Bible rather than something based on human speculation or other traditions. Look for genuine worship of God and make certain the church is helping people love God fully and love others the way Jesus did.

Good resources - There are many Christian books, podcasts, and online resources available that can provide valuable insights and guidance, which we have provided links to some below.
By taking advantage of these resources and committing a regular practice of studying and learning, you can build a strong foundation in your faith and grow closer to God.
